About a month ago, Gabi mastered the skill of grabbing attractive objects within her reach.

Once she learned to grasp toys, the obvious next step is to bring them towards her and put them in her mouth so she can explore them with her tongue. She loves to stick out her tongue in anticipation of a new toy to taste, or perhaps her tongue is just trying to meet the toy half-way.

More recently, our little Gabriella has been practicing sitting up all by herself! She is such a big girl. She's not completely stable sitting on her own just yet; I usually sit behind her so I can catch her in case she topples backwards.
Gabi is intrigued by her duck's dance to "Singing in the Rain."

She can sit up!? Also: dang, she is cute.
I can't believe that girl learned to sit up just a day after I last saw her! She sure is cute, and looks so much more grown up, sitting up by herself. And I like her in the blue dress. I can't wait to see her, but it's 2 months before I get to travel to Atlanta. She'll probably be walking before I get to see her again.
I thoroughly enjoy the intense look while she's grabbing things...very inquisitive little niece. Now that she's into putting things in her mouth, just make sure she avoids those candies with wrappers on them Michael! Miss all of you so much...
You forgot to tell how well Gabi placed the birdie on top of those blocks!
