Winter Arrives

Gabi loves to talk (or pretend to talk) on the phone.

Gabi driving a car at playgroup.

Martin was sad when he came over one day, so
Gabi gave him a nuzzle (rubbed noses) to make him feel better.

Scandalous! But Martin is happy now.

Gabi climbed onto the table
to read this Christmas card from Notre Dame.

Gabi and Sienna playing with blocks.

Festival of Trees

Kira, Martin, and Gabi all bundled up to ride the MARTA downtown.

A Swarovski crystal "Fire and Ice" tree.

Filipino Christmas decorations.

Gabi's hair is long enough for pigtails.

Hannah Ruth and Gabi swinging.

Gabi playing music at playgroup.

Our little artist.

Gabi hiding in the tunnel and laughing as her friends find her.

Christmas is coming!

Gabi thinks the tree skirt is a blanket.
"Night-night!" she says.

Choo-choo! Gabi found a train ornament on the tree.

Gabi investigating all the ornaments on our Christmas tree.

Gabi modeling her Christmas dress.

Gabi likes to wear Daddy's Santa hat.

Uh-oh!
Gabi found Mommy's present hiding under the tree,
and she wanted to open it.

What a beautiful little girl! I love the pigtails! Looks like you all are having a great time getting ready for Christmas. It seems as if Gabi is really noticing more this year. The whole family looks terrific! Lissa, did you dye your hair? It looks great just darker than I remember. Right now I think you folks are having colder weather than we are.

Lissa, your hair looks fantastic! As does Gabi's; I'm loving the pigtails.

Merry Christmas to all of you. It must be so neat to see the holiday through Gabi's eyes.

No hair dying or anything different... but thanks for the compliments! And yes, it is so much fun to watch Gabi discover all the holiday traditions. I keep intending to post a story about the books she "reads" to us. I'll have to get on that.

Wow! I think these pictures are priceless (especially the scandalous one). I can't wait to see Gabi's face when she sees this one when she gets older. Good job Lissa ! You do a wonderful job telling your daughter's life in pictures. I can't wait to see her in a few days.
